Special Agent Mike Freeman rides in the Police Unity Tour

Thanks in part to FBINCAA support, Mike Freeman was able to blast past the $1250 threshold and amass $2015 in support of LEU and it's sister organizations, Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) and the Officer Dowm Memorial Page (ODMP.org). Proceeds from this ride supports fallen law enforcement officers and their families.

Mike rode in honor FBI SA Sam Hicks(End of Watch: 11/19/98, son of David Hicks (CAAA-09), who was killed in the line of duty on November 19, 2008 while serving a narcotics search warrant in Indiana Township, Pennsylvania (http://odmp.org/officer/19650-special-agent-samuel-steele-hicks)

Samuel’s father, David Hicks, attended the Citizens' Academy in 2009 to learn more about his son's chosen profession. Like most in law enforcement, SA Hicks was truly devoted to his job.

The three day event started on May 10 and covered over 230 miles. Mike was joined by 400+ Law Enforcement United (LEU)riders and crew on the three day bike tour from Chesapeake, VA, to Washington, DC. He was joined by hundreds of riders from other teams from across the US as part of National Law Enforcement Memorial Week.

Mike trained with friends from the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office for the second year.  Participants rode 103 miles the first day, about 80 miles the next, and 50 miles on day 3. The ride culminated by meeting with friends, family, and law enforcement survivors at the Pentagon Memorial.
